Career

He represents Philippines at the 2012 Summer Olympics, having qualified for the Olympics after reaching quarterfinals of the 2011 World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, He is a southpaw. Barriga"s participation at the 2012 London Olympics ended after he lost to Kazakh boxer Birzhan Zhakypov, 16-17, in their August 4 round-of-16 match. 2011 World Amateur Results
