Dobies formerly portrayed district attorney and murderer Daniel Colson on the American Broadcasting Company soap opera One Life to Live from July 1, 2003 until June 15, 2005. Previously, he briefly played Doctor Noah Chase on Columbia Broadcasting System soap Guiding Light from 2000 to 2001. He has three children named Francessca, Olivia, and Robert.
