He is also a seasoned radio presenter having hosted the breakfast shows at British Broadcasting Corporation Radio Stoke and British Broadcasting Corporation GMR. He has since appeared in British Broadcasting Corporation One show DIY SOS and an episode of CBBC"s Prank Patrol. Mark has also voiced roles in British Broadcasting Corporation Network Radio plays. Mark was the host at Venturefest Manchester in 2014 at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester and then again in 2015 at Lancashire County Cricket Club at the Emirates Stadium in Trafford which attracted over 1,000 business owners and investors.
The event organised by the Business Growth Hub however was missing their Chief Executive Officer, Richard Jeffrey, who was at the hospital where the news of an even more important event unfolded as they welcomed their newborn who was quickly named #venturebaby on twitter.
Edwardson was born in March, 1967 at Cowley Hill Hospital in Street Helens, Lancashire and grew up in Haydock. He attended English Martyrs Remote Control Primary School in Haydock, Street Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School, Ashton in Makerfield and Street John Rigby College, Orrell.
He obtained an honours degree at Edge Hill College, Ormskirk. He survived the Hillsborough Disaster, and presented an emotional special report on North West Tonight on the day of the 20th anniversary of the disaster.
