Eliyahu was born in 1982 in Dagestan and emigrated to Israel with his parents in 1989.

At age 16, he was inspired by Habil Aliyev"s performance, a prominent kamancheh player, and moved to Baku to learn kamancheh under guidance of Adalat Vazirov. On that year he also performed as a soloist with the Israel Chamber Orchestra of Ramat-Gan in Israeli festival. In 2004, he recorded his first solo album “Voices of Judea“ and performed with his ensemble throughout Europe and Israel.
