In five years he was a student of the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. He became a Bachelor of Science. In 1996 Mark became a Master of Social Work. In 2003 he received a degree of the Master of Public Administration. In 2016 he was a student of the Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, United States. He became a Master of Library and Information Science.
Marc worked as a social worker at the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitation Services in Gainesville, Georgia, United States from 1990 to 1995. In a year he became a program specialist of the Division Disease Control in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. He worked there until 1998. Since 1998 he was a health education program manager at the Office Tobacco Control.
