Career
Took part in World War II. Science journalist. Became involved in dissident activity. Came into conflict with the authorities.
In 1977, calling himself the Mark Popovskii Press, provided information to Western press correspondents. Harassed by the Committee for State Security, left the USSR, 1977, and settled in the USA. Contributor to many Russian emigre periodicals.
