American Judicature Society. Cassiday, Schade & Gloor was founded by eight attorneys in 1979. Since then, the Firm has expanded to more than 80 attorneys serving the Midwest from offices in Chicago, Wheaton and Waukegan, Illinois.
Cassiday, Schade & Gloor has a litigation practice representing corporations and insurance carriers in all aspects of their business.
The Firm is heavily involved in the defense of personal injury, property damage, and insurance litigation, with special emphasis in the defense of medical and professional malpractice. In its work within general liability, property damage, environmental-toxic tort and insurance coverage, the Firm works with Aetna Life & Casualty, Allstate Insurance, Saint Paul Insurance, Pepper Construction, Mack Trucks, Whirlpool, and the welding industry.
In its defense of medical and professional malpractice, the Firm works with the major teaching hospitals in the Chicago area, including University of Chicago Hospitals and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Advocate Health Care, the Illinois State Medical Inter-Insurance Exchange, other carriers for physicians, and the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company.
