Career
After he refused to extend his contract, he left Heracles Almelo as a Free Agent. He is of Bosnian-Serbian descent. Vejinović made his debut in the Eredivisie on 22 March 2009, in home match against Feyenoord.
The match ended in a 0–0 draw.
Early years
Vejinović started playing football at the age of seven at a small Dutch club by the name of Zeeburgia. Ajax scouts immediately recognized his talent, where he consequently spent the next 7 years playing for the youth team at Ajax.
He continued his career later at Football Club Utrecht and then at Arizona Alkmaar. On 2 November 2015 Vejinović was called up to the senior Netherlands squad for friendlies against Wales and Germany.
