He holds a Masters degree in Business from Business School in Switzerland and a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Munich in Germany. He now owns more than 20 patents for his designs
Markus Giebel joined as Product Manager at Connectivity Solutions, North Carolina, United States of America in 1993 and was selected to participate in an 18 month Trainee program He was then promoted to Product Manager in 1995 and developed the connectivity strategy for Corning.
In 1999, he became the Vice President after the acquisition of Siemens NK with full P&L responsibility for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and Private Networks Group in Europe and Middle East.
In 2008, Markus was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Deyaar Development PJSC. He developed and implemented strategies to safeguard the company during the financial crisis. Since 2004 till date, Markus has been the Managing Partner for Soliton Holding, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He founded an Investment Company specialized in Financial Services, Trading, Real Estate and Advisory Services.

He was also known to be the Chief Executive Officer of Deyaar Development PJSC (a public traded real estate company listed on the DFM), as a senior executive and the youngest Vice President of Corning (a Fortune 500 firm in the United States) and as the founder of several startup companies such as Vedera Capital, HomeWay and others Markus was presented several awards such as the Chief Executive Officer award of the Middle East and the Leadership award in 2010.
Currently he holds the positions of Managing Partner of Soliton Holding, Chairman of Aesthetics, Board Member of Soliton, and Board Member of Eternity Medicine Institute. He was the member of the M&A team which acquired Siemens NK.
