Marsha Bertrand was born on March 19, 1950, in Kankakee, Illinois, United States, to Fritz Kleinert, a farmer, and Olivera Kleinert.
Bertrand obtained Associate in Business degree at the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, in 1970.
Later, in 1982, she graduated with honors from the Lake Forest School of Management, as Master of Business Administration.
Bertrand's career began in 1971, at the company Coopers & Lybrand, where she held the position of a personnel specialist and director of training and development, she stayed there until 1983. That same year Bertrand was appointed a shareholder relations administrator at the Allnet Communication Services, Inc., she stayed there during 2 years.
In 1985 she moved to the VMS Realty Partners, and became an assistant vice-president for investor relations, holding that position till 1988.
Since 1988 Bertrand has worked as a free-lance writer in Chicago and Orlando.
She is a contributor of more than two-hundred articles to magazines, including Army Times, Better Investing, Catholic Digest, Women’s Business Journal, World and I, Your Money, Mature Outlook, Individual Investor, Nation’s Business, and Single Styles.
