Magruder, Marshall was born on October 12, 1885 in Washington, District of Columbia. Son of George Corbin Washington and Eleanor Anne Helen (Marshall) Magruder.

Education

Student George Washington University, 1904-1907. Graduated from Army War College, 1932, Naval War College, 1933.

Career

He retired from the US Army in 1946 as a Brigadier General. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Section 30, Site 1092 with full military honors. 1939 - 1940 Commanding Officer Armored Cavalry Regiment\r\n 1942 - 1943 Commanding Officer 14th Field Artillery Brigade.
