In 1978 Martha Freeman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Stanford University with distinction.

Career

Martha Freeman has worked as substitute teacher, college lecturer, and advertising copywriter. She was a freelance reporter and editor in Sonora, California from 1980 to 1995. In 1995, Martha's family moved from Sonora, California, to State College, Pennsylvania.

Achievements

• Martha Freeman is best known as the author of more than twenty five books. She wrote and edited hundreds of articles for newspapers and magazines. Her most popular book is "The Year My Parents Ruined My Life". Freeman's book "Zip!" was nominated for the Edgar Award for best mystery.
