Martha Alexandrovna Polyakova is a Russian cultural historian, teacher, candidate of historical sciences (1988) and assistant professor. She is a compiler, scientific editor, author of introductory articles published in Moscow "Materials of the Code ...", dedicated to the Tula region, Lipetsk region, Voronezh region and Novgorod region.
Education
In 1972, Martha Alexandrovna Polyakova graduated from the History department of Moscow State University. In 1985, she graduated from the doctorate of Moscow State University. In 1988, she became a candidate of historical sciences.
Career
From 1972 to 1990, Martha Alexandrovna Polyakova was engaged in work on the preparation of the Code of historical and cultural monuments of the RSFSR. Due to her work on the "Materials of the Code ...", she has repeatedly visited Voronezh. In 1990 she became a senior lecturer, associate professor of the Faculty of Museology of the Russian State University for the Humanities. She is the author of about 70 publications on various issues of cultural heritage protection, including several studies on Voronezh issues. Polyakova prepared for publication "Notes of Count MD. Buturlin" (Moscow, 2006; part 1-2).
