Career
West served as Associate Dean of the law school between 1988 and 1992. From 1997 through 2005, she served on the Davis Joint Unified School District Board of Education, over which she presided in 2001 and 2004. She clerked for Judge Jesse East. Eschbach.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude) in history from Brandeis University in 1967 and a Juris Doctor (summa cum laude) from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1974.
