Career

Editor, writer, researcher, The Frick Collection, 1962-1964; curatorial assistant drawings department, The Museum Modern Art, 1968-1975; founder, director, The Drawing Center, 1975-1990; director emeritus, The Drawing Center, since 1990; founder, director, The Center for International Exhbns., since 1992. Served on numerous juries and panels including National Endowment for theArts, State University of New York Thayer Family Fellowships, The Westchester Council on the Arts and the Jerome Foundation Fellowships. Lecturer in field.
