How does communication structure our perceptions of reality and help us form opinions about controversial matters? How do we encourage readers to participate in the exercise of free speech? This book explores the connection between community and communication in light of the four questions posed. The goal is to encourage readers to evaluate public discourse critically and to provide them with the skills and confidence to do so.
