Career
He took over the head coach job from sacked coach Anthony Farrell. Hall previously played hooker at Oldham, Halifax and Wigan. He was also the Head Coach of the Wales national rugby league team for 3 years between 2005-2007 and has had coaching stints at Rochdale Hornets and Hull Kingston Rovers.

Martin Hall played in Rochdale Hornets 14-24 defeat by Saint Helens in the 1991 Lancashire Cup final during the 1991-1992 season at Wilderspool Stadium, Warrington, on Sunday 20 October 1991.
Regal Trophy final appearances
Martin Hall played hooker in Wigan"s 40-10 victory over Warrington in the 1994-1995 Regal Trophy final during the 1994-1995 season at Alfred McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield on Saturday 28 January 1995, and played hooker in the 25-16 victory over Saint Helens in the 1995-1996 Regal Trophy final during the 1994-1995 season at Alfred McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield on Saturday 13 January 1996.
