He appeared in one episode of the second series of British Broadcasting Corporation"s This Life. In 2007 he appeared on an edition of Celebrity MasterChef on British Broadcasting Corporation 1. He also appeared as Howard Devoto in the film 24 Hour Party People.
Martin also appeared in the 2004 film Chasing Liberty, the 2005 film Kingdom of Heaven and the 2008 film Defiance.
In 2009 he played the cockroach-eating Redlip in the ITV1 cult drama Demons. Hancock attended Drayton Manor High School in West London and trained at the Drama Centre London.
