Education
He studied at the Vilna school.
He graduated from the Vilnius University. In 1808 received a degree in philosophy.
Career
He worked as a teacher in Vilna school, then in Vitebsk. In 1817 he moved to Warsaw. For a more detailed study of the geology of mineralogists Warsaw University sent him to Paris. After returning transformed mineralogist Department at Warsaw University. Collected 12 albums of minerals for the gymnasium. Worked as a teacher in high school, after as a Professor at Alexander University. Wrote an article "The Warsaw Diary", devoted to travel to Italy.
