Career
Her work often features scenes underwater. Amati trained at the Brera Academy in Milan and was picked upon graduation by Music Television Europe to work in the United Kingdom. She directed hundreds of Music Television promos and idents and was part of the London-based team that created and launched Music Television Italy, leaving immediately after the regionalization of the channel. Amati moved into drama in 2008.
Amati"s work has premiered at Sundance Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, and London Film Festival and has screened around the world on the international circuit.
