(Book by Seed, Allen H.)
My initial research on labour supply issues was followed by research on economic aspects of nuclear poliferation (resource requirements for development of nuclear weapons capabilities). During a period of service with the federal government the main focus of policy analysis was, first, on labour market analysis and inflation, and second, on wage and price controls and related government policies intended to restrain inflation. More recently I have maintained an interest in labour market developments, how labour costs have been influenced by changes in competitive conditions, and relationships between inflation and labour costs trends.
I have also studied issues in the analysis and management of government regulation and developed research projects to analyse government regulatory policy and evaluate the performance of regulatory programmes.
