Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts with honors, University Wisconsin, 1984. Master of Fine Arts, Tufts University and the Boston Museum School, 1989.
Mead has exhibited her work in sculpture, drawing and printmaking throughout New England and in NYC for over 30 years. She has taught at a variety of venues and colleges since finishing graduate school to both adult learners, teens and college students. She was a charter member of the Two Rivers Printmaking Studio in VT and past board chair.
Mead works across disciplines at any given time - in wood sculpture, ink on paper as well as a variety of printmaking processes.
