Career
In 1947, she was candidate for the United States House of Representatives from Wisconsin"s 2nd congressional district in the special election following the death of Robert Kirkland Henry. She lost to Glenn Robert Davis. She was candidate for the same seat again the following year.
Again, she lost to Davis.
