Sponsored and assisted in drafting first School Board bill ever presented to Albany for passage. Vice-President, National. Grade Teachers Association Through T.E.L. obtained permanent contracts for all the teachers and abolished the annual contracts.
Director, Tuberculosis Board Chairman, Times Distributing Committee for the Husted Milling Disaster. Appointed member, Board of Directors, 1913, re-appointed 1929. Albion State Training School.
