Student Newark (New Jersey) Law School, 1909-1910. Bachelor of Laws, New York University, 1911, Master of Laws, 1912.
Studied piano under Alexander Lambert.
Diploma in harmony, New York College of Music.
Began teaching in public schools at 17. Became principal high school, Watertown, Connecticut, principal public schools, Red Bank, also special science teacher in high school. Began study of law at age of 42, in office of Honorary John South. Applegate, Red Bank.
Admitted to New Jersey bar as attorney, 1913, counsellor, 1916.
Admitted to Florida bar, 1922, to bar of Supreme Court of the United States, 1925, Connecticut bar, 1930. Has appeared in many suits in Court of Chancery, before Supreme Court of New Jersey, and in New Jersey Court of Errors and Appeals.
Most notable case was Chancery suit of Reilly versus Brown in which won alone against 6 lawyers. On opposite side, 1924.
Won case for construction of will for appellants, in Roberts et al. versus Mosely, before Division A and Division B, Supreme Court of Florida, 1929-1930.
Member New York University Alumni Association, New London County Bar Association, New London County History Society, Sarah Whitman Trumbull Chapter Daughters of American Revolution Club, Waterbury, 1935-1936.
