Masando Watanab graduated from Meiji University in 1918.
Masando Watanabe entered Japan Steel Pipe Company and served in sales and business departments until he was transferred to become president of Iron and Steel Control Sales Company (1945). Then accepted appointment as president of Japan Steel Pipe Company (1947) but had to give up the post because of purge order and assumed new post as president of Tokyo Ceramic Industry Company. After being depurged (1950) still remained in that post and served also as president of Tohoku Cement Company and Japan Steel Pipe Coupling Manufacturing Company.
