Masanobu Kitamura entered research institute of Taiheiyo Art Society and there learned dessin from Fusetsu Nakamura and Kunishiro Mitsuya and plastic art from Shikai, his father and Taketaro Shinkai.
Following his father in his style, Masanobu Kitamura has concentrated mainly upon marble sculpture, executing works of elegance, such as "A Woman Washing Her Hair" and "Pose."
