Masanori Kitamura entered Osaka Shosen (OSK Line) (1927). He served on the company's steamship lines to Europe, South America, Bombay, Calcutta, Formosa and Dairen (Talien), resigned (1921). Masanori entered Yokohama Branch of Mitsubishi Soko (Warehouse) Company and became director of its Shanghai Agency (1941), resigned (1946). He became engineer of the 8th Army of the U.S. Occupation Forces and later founded and became president of Tozai Steamship Company.
