Career
Entered Nihon Kogaku Kogyo Raisha (Japan Optical Industry Company) and became its director in 1944 and then president in 1947. Holds additional posts of director of Optical & Glass Industry Association, permanent director of Nikkeiren (Federation of Japan Employers’ Associations) and director of Hatsumei Kyokai (Invention Association) and Nihon Kikai Yushutsu Kumiai (Japan Machinery Export Union).
