Masayoshi Nishitsunoi graduated from Kokugakuin University (1920).
Masayoshi Nishitsunoi served as teacher of Urawa Girls High School. Appointed instructor of Koten Kokyujo (Imperial Rule Research Institute) (1925). Later taught at Kokugakuin University on national literature and folklore. He was a director of Literature Department and Shintoism Research Department of the same university. Doctorate in literature (1948).
Also interested in poems and is contributor to the poetical magazine "Tama."
