Matazo Kita graduated from Osaka City Commercial School (1894).
Career
After graduation began working for Nihon Menka (Japan Cotton) Company, to become its manager (1903) and then president (1917). Besides contributing to the prosperity of this firm, Matazo Kita founded and managed several others, including Chugai Trading Company and Nikka (Sino-Japanese) Textile Manufacturing Company.
