Born in Vaduz, Christen has played club football in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Thailand for Football Club Triesen, Football Club Balzers, Football Club Wil, Football Club Gossau, Football Club Vaduz, Football Club Linth 04, United States Volunteers Eschen/Mauren and Singhtarua. He scored his first international goal against Bosnia and Herzegovina during the 2014 qualifying campaign.
