After several seasons in Randers Football Club"s academy, Bersang Sørensen first came to prominence with two substitutions in the Europa League. Besides that, he mostly appeared for the reserves. Hobro IK
On December 22, 2012, it was announced that Bersang Sørensen had signed with second division outfit Hobro IK, for two-and-a-half years.
Due to some great performances for the side, he signed a contract extension in October 2013, which would keep him in Northern Jutland to at least 2016.
