Dossevi joined Valenciennes from Le Mans in the summer of 2010 and has played 110 times for them scoring eleven goals for Ligue 1. On 18 March 2014, Dossevi has stated that he will leave Valenciennes at the end of the season. However, the forward is concerned about the Ligue 1 side as they fight for survival.The midfielder has been vital for the French club and has played most of their games this season though he believes is time to move on.“I will leave this summer but I do not know where.

They want to permanently sign the 27-year-old and are trying to clinch a deal with an amount under €2 million.
