Career
He is currently playing for the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect of the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League (National Hockey League). A shoulder injury in his draft year hurt Marcantuoni"s stock and he was taken in the fourth round (92nd overall) by the Pittsburgh Penguins. During his final junior season in 2013-2014 with the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League, he was signed to a three-year entry level contract with the Penguins on October 19, 2013.
During the 2015-2016 season, while with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Marcantuoni was dealt by the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Arizona Coyotes at the trade deadline in exchange for Dustin Jeffrey, Dan O"Donoghue and James Melindy on February 29, 2016.
