Career
Flannery co-founded Kiva with Jessica Jackley. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Kiva.org from 2005 - 2015. Flannery began co-developing Kiva (organization) in late 2004 while working as a computer programmer at TiVo, Incorporated.
In December 2005 he left TiVo to work on the Kiva (organization) project full-time, with now ex-wife Jessica Jackley.
Flannery is a Skoll Awardee and Ashoka Fellow and was selected for the Fortune magazine"s 40 Under 40 List in 2009. In 2011, Flannery was selected for The Economist "Number Boundaries" Innovation Award.
Flannery graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems, and a Master of Philosophy from Stanford University.
