Career
He is the only deaf professional sportsman in England. In 2012 Mat was fitted with a Phonak hearing device. Since then he has worked as a celebrity ambassador for Phonak, helping to raise awareness of hearing loss.
He has played 11 times for the England Deaf rugby team - www.englanddeafrugby.com.
