Prior to turning professional, Ginn attended the College of the Holy Cross where he played four seasons with the Holy Cross Crusaders men"s ice hockey team which competes in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Atlantic Hockey conference.
He is currently playing for the Atlanta Gladiators in the ECHL.
Ginn was recognized for his outstanding play when he was named as a freshman to the 2011-2012 Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team, and in his final season was named to the 2014-2015 All-Atlantic Hockey First Team.
