His position is Centre and he currently plays for Oxford University Reconstruction Finance Corporation and the Georgia national team Janney is also part of Varsity winning Oxford Blues team in 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015. He spent the second year of his studies in the city of Yaroslavl, where he played fly half for the semi-professional rugby club Flagman.
Janney was born in London.
He is of Georgian descent and studies Russian at Oriel College, Oxford. Janney dated British actress Emma Watson for around a year in 2014.
