Nielsen has amassed a total 46 youth caps for Denmark under five different age groups, but has yet to earn a senior cap. F.C. Nordsjælland In December 2009 Nielsen signed a contract with the Danish Sas-Liga team Football Club Nordsjælland starting from 1 January Delfino Pescara 1936 30 December 2011, it was confirmed that Matti Lund Nielsen would transfer to Pescara on a free transfer, signing a contract til summer 2014. Return to OB 19 September 2015, Odense Boldklub announced that Nielsen was signed for the remainder of the calendar year.
