In 1878 he debuted in Donizetti's "La Favorita" at Rome, Teatro Argentina. Then he immediately engaged for the Italian opera in Buenos Ayres. Since then sang in Italian on all principal stages in Italy, Spain, Portugal, London and in 1893 in Berlin, St.Petersburg, etc.
