Elected Park Commissioner, Minneapolis, 1921-1927. Re-elected, since 1927. As Park Commissioner actively interested in playground work, the ext. and improvement of all recreational facilities.
The preservation of nat. beauties of the city. Encouraging adult recreation particularly the young employed boys and girls. The co-operation between school and Park Board as to extended uses of school bldgs, and park playgrounds, in order to avoid duplication and effort.
