KEATINGE, Maurice Walter was born on February 25, 1868 in Ireland. 2nd son of late Maurice Keatinge, Registrar of the Court of Probate, Dublin. Grandson of Right Honourable Richard Keatinge, P.C., Judge of the Court of Probate, Dublin.

Studied at St. Mark’s School, Windsor. Exeter College Oxford. Schoolmaster since 1891.

Assistant Master at Edinburgh Academy, 1894-1897. Examiner in Education, Universities of Cambridge, London, Manchester, and Wales, 1898-1909. Member British Psychological Society (Committee). Reader in Education in the University of Oxford since 1903.
