C.C., Central Welsh Board, etc. Lecturer in French at Dublin University, 1905.

Is a keen Imperialist and Protectionist, but an equally keen democrat and social reformer and a warm believer in women’s rights and suffrage, and in open but chivalrous competition between man and woman in almost every sphere of intellectual and physical activity. Head of the French and Romance Department, University of Bristol; Fellovr and Member of Council of the Royal Society of Literature.
