Achievements include discovery of role of interferon beta in regulating blood-brain barrier activities; discovery of role of interferon beta in the regulation of G protein coupled receptors, and molecular biology of adhesion molecules; discovery of involvement of the neuro-immune system in the physiopathology of multiple sclerosis.
