In an interview published by IdeaMensch in 2019, Max Salk expressed his take on how to achieve success in work and in life. His philosophy centered around making a plan and setting goals, but being open to the things outside of your control, and to not hold back on your goals due to apprehension regarding the outcome.
Quotations:
"Preparation is key, but you’ll never know how something will turn out until you get it off the ground."
"The world is full of opportunities, and there is no one path to success or satisfaction in almost anything in life. Find something you love doing, and pursue it relentlessly. If it doesn’t work out, try something else. You’re young."
