Maxine studied the harp at the Eastern School of Music.
Career
Maxine worked in a carpet store in in Boston’s Back Bay, Massachusetts for eighteen years. He also was the book reviewer for the Worcester Telegram Gazette, Worcester, Massachusetts.
She wrote Love among the Orientals in 1998. A Publishers Weekly reviewer said: “The comic, supernatural story line of this work starts with a sexy conceit but then fizzles.” Library Journal reviewer Ellen R. Cohen called Love among the Orientals a “delightful, sensual tale.”
