Career
Although she played in other films and television shows, in Germany and Scandinavia she is best known for her role as Mission Sophie in the comedy sketch Dinner for One along with Freddie Frinton in a 1963 recording. She had non-speaking roles in Stanley Kubrick"s A Clockwork Orange and in the Doctor Who serial The Daleks" Master Plan (as an aged Sara Kingdom). Her last major role was as Billy"s outspoken grandmother in the television series version of Billy Liar (1973).
She lived in London until her death.
