Career
Mayilvahanan Natarajan, an elected fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, was the 7th Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Doctor M.G.Ramachandran Medical University. He was the first Indian to be elected as the millennium president 2000 - 2002 to The Asia Pacific Musculoskeletal Tumour Society. Mayilvahanan Natarajan was born as the third child of Doctor Natarajan and Janaki on 24 December 1954.
He joined Madras Medical College for his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery course in 1971.
