Went to the Turko-Russian War in charge (medical) of Dardanelles Expedition, 1878. On return was appointed Assistant Surgeon to N.-W. London Hospital. Demonstrator of Anatomy at the London Hospital.
And subsequently Professor of Comparative Anatomy and Physiology at the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Was Assist, to late Sir Morell Mackenzie. Member of SoQiet£ Frangaise d’Otologie, de Laryngologie de Rhinologie.
And the American Laryngological Association. Fellow of Royal Academy of Medicine. Consulting Surgeon; Senior Surgeon to the North-West London Hospital; Consulting Surgeon to the Heart Hospital; Fellow and late President of the British Laryngological Society.
